I have been following Jude Hill’s Spirit Cloth blog (http://spiritcloth.typepad.com) for a long time… maybe years?! when I think about it. I am kind of a “lurker” when it comes to blogs. Because of Spirit Cloth, I have found many artists whose messages and artwork just resonate with me. Sometimes that was all I could do was enjoy from afar — sometimes laughing, sometimes crying, sometimes feeling lost and sometimes feeling found. Lately, though, I have been reaching out a bit more and always feel welcomed and as though my personal circle is widening. Maybe it is just the right time. Whatever the reason, I am excited to join into the Sun Moon Stars journey.
Interesting, the above montage is from my current project which I am making for my daughter. Although the emphasis of images for this project is on water (she’s my “water baby”), I also included some repeats from the Traveling Companion I made for myself and some other new ones. They are all personal symbols to me or my daughter.
I did a little indigo dyeing this summer, so I think I will start with one of those. Funny, almost every time I try to type SunMoonStars, I keep putting a “t” on the Stars to make “SunMoonStarts.” I think my typing fingers are telling me something!!!
